| State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training (SLATT) | Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council (ATAC) Workshop

Description: This one-day course will be divided into two sections. The first part of the course will focus on providing an overview of Extremist Groups; Domestic and International Terrorism; Intelligence Gathering; and more. This section of the course will be instructed by National SLATT Instructors. The second part (last hour) of the course will consist of a presentation/intelligence sharing exercise by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The Workshop is designed for local, state and federal law enforcement officials who wish to learn current trends and threats regarding homeland security.
The State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training (SLATT) Program is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice. Bureau of Justice Assistance. The Program provides law enforcement personnel with specialized training and resources to combat terrorism and extremist criminal activity.
